Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and sinister.wtf ("we," "us," "our," or "the Platform"). By creating an account, claiming a username, accessing the platform, or using any feature or service offered through sinister.wtf or any of its subdomains, you unconditionally accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Your continued use of the Platform after any modification to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

To use sinister.wtf you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you must have the express consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
• Not be barred from receiving services under applicable law in your jurisdiction.
• Not have had a prior account terminated by sinister.wtf for a violation of these Terms.
• Possess a valid invite code issued through our invite-only access system.

We reserve the right to refuse access or terminate accounts without notice if we believe eligibility requirements have been misrepresented or are no longer met.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must maintain the confidentiality of your credentials and immediately notify us of any unauthorised access or suspected breach.

Regarding usernames and aliases:

• Usernames and aliases are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and these Terms.
• We reserve the right to reclaim, reassign, or permanently revoke any username or alias at our sole discretion, including those that are reserved, impersonate others, or that we determine are squatted without genuine use.
• Usernames that impersonate real individuals, brands, or organisations are prohibited.
• Certain usernames are permanently reserved by sinister.wtf for platform use and cannot be registered or aliased by any user.
• You may not sell, transfer, or trade your account, username, or alias to any third party.

You agree not to use sinister.wtf for any purpose that is unlawful, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Posting, uploading, or distributing content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or promotes violence or discrimination.
• Impersonating any person, entity, or organisation, including sinister.wtf staff.
• Attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, its servers, or other accounts.
• Engaging in any form of automated data scraping, crawling, or harvesting without explicit written permission.
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Platform or its infrastructure.
• Using the Platform to distribute malware, spam, phishing content, or any other harmful software or links.
• Circumventing, disabling, or otherwise tampering with security features of the Platform.
• Using the Platform for commercial advertising or solicitation without our prior written consent.
• Violating any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

We reserve the right — but are not obligated — to monitor content and take action, including removal and account termination, for any violations of this section.

You retain ownership of any content you submit, upload, or display on sinister.wtf ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant sinister.wtf a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to use, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to all User Content you submit.
• Your User Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
• Your User Content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws.

We reserve the right to remove any User Content at any time, without notice, for any reason, including content we determine in our sole discretion to be in violation of these Terms or otherwise objectionable.

Access to sinister.wtf is strictly invite-only. Invite codes are non-transferable and may only be used once unless otherwise specified. By accepting and using an invite code, you agree that:

• Invite codes may not be sold, auctioned, or publicly distributed without our explicit written consent.
• We reserve the right to revoke or invalidate any invite code at any time, for any reason, without liability.
• If your account is terminated, any invite codes issued to you may also be invalidated, and accounts registered via your invite may be subject to review.
• Abuse of the invite system — including generating fake accounts or circumventing access controls — will result in permanent termination of your account and all associated invite codes.

Without limiting the foregoing, sinister.wtf makes no warranty that:

• The Platform will meet your requirements or expectations.
• The Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• Any data stored on the Platform will be retained, accurate, or recoverable.
• Any defects or errors in the Platform will be corrected.
• The Platform or any content available through it is free of viruses, malicious code, or other harmful components.

You use the Platform entirely at your own risk. sinister.wtf does not warrant or make any representations regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of third-party services, integrations, or links accessible through the Platform.

This limitation applies regardless of the cause of action — whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise — and even if sinister.wtf has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Specifically, sinister.wtf is not liable for:

• Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
• Damages arising from unauthorised access to or alteration of your data or account.
• Damages resulting from interruption, suspension, or termination of the Platform.
• Damages arising from third-party conduct, content, or services accessed through the Platform.
• Any loss or damage caused by your reliance on information or content available through the Platform.
• Any harm to your devices, systems, or data resulting from your access to or use of the Platform.

In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. In no event shall sinister.wtf's total cumulative liability exceed zero (£0), as the Platform is provided free of charge.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless sinister.wtf, its operators, affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the Platform.
• Your User Content or any content you submit, post, or display on the Platform.
• Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law or regulation.
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Any disputes between you and any other user of the Platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the Platform immediately ceases.
• Your username and any associated aliases may be reclaimed and reassigned.
• Your User Content may be deleted without recovery.
• We are under no obligation to retain or provide you with any data associated with your account.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account deletion features within the Platform. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before the termination date. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, and 12 — shall survive.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this document. For material changes, we may — but are not obligated to — provide notice through the Platform or via email.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must cease using the Platform immediately.

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to them or your use of the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform will be resolved on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive your right to participate in class-action proceedings against sinister.wtf.
